Director/Producer: Seema Mathur

Seema Mathur is a multi-award winning journalist who has earned a National Edward R. Murrow, Lone Star Emmy, several Associated Press and medical journalism awards for her reporting on US national networks and local affiliates.  Among some of her notable reports are an exclusive interview she obtained with one of Liberia’s most notorious warlords for CNN, an in-depth look at child soldiers in Liberia, women’s rights in Morocco, a look back at the US Embassy bombing in Tanzania, the life of orphans in India and a look at the state of American health care through the lens of US Emergency Rooms. Camp 72 is Seema’s first independent feature documentary. In 2009, she launched Global Voice Productions, a multimedia company dedicated to giving voice to those who need to be heard.


Director of Photography: Tom Taylor

Tom Taylor has 30 years of experience in TV and film production in various senior roles from Director of photography, Producer and Location Manager.  His documentary experience includes shooting 10 Frontline documentaries for PBS as well as  “To The Edge Back”, an Emmy nominated series of documentaries for Nova.  He’s worked as Director of Photography on more than 20 TV series.


Director of Photography: Jon Lincycomb

Jon Lincycomb worked as a news photographer for local TV affiliates for close to a decade chasing menacing storms like Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. He was also the first on the scene of SWAT standoffs, other crime scenes, house fires and accidents. Since leaving local news he has produced the documentary, The Whistle Girl of Granada.


Editor: Michael Martin

Michael Martin has 25 years of editing experience which includes news, documentaries and corporate videos. Among his clients are The Nature Conservancy, ABC, HBO and Biography.


Assistant Editor: Nick Keene

Nick Keene has produced over 150 commercial spots for national and regional clients including GE, Identity Guard, and NASA. He has worked as a producing artist, director and designer in the New York film and theater industry in venues such as Circle in the Square, Culture Project/45 Bleecker, Lincoln Center and the Irish Repertory.
